Call for Proposals

The New York Higher Ed Technology Forum, (NYHETF) is requesting proposals for presentations at its 4th Annual Conference. Proposals should spotlight issues in information technology that are of interest specifically to higher education institutions.

Submitting Your Proposal

We invite you to be an active participant of this dynamic conference. Submit a proposal for a session presentation, demonstration, or workshop by completing the online form. The deadline for submissions is Monday, April 18, 2011.

The form requires the following information:

  • Names, contact info & titles of all presenters
  • Title of Presentation
  • A 100-150 word summary of your proposed session, describing the subject, content and potential ways that other participants could utilize the material presented
  • Format of proposed session
  • Approximate time required to present
  • Technology needs for proposed session
  • Target Audience
  • Brief biography of all presenters
Presentations will be selected by April 25, 2011 and presenters will be contacted by the planning committee.

Session Formats

Acceptable formats include but are not limited to PowerPoint (or equivalent) discussion panel, live demonstration or any combination thereof. We encourage interactive presentation formats and collaboration with other institutions.
